We offer free breakfast for PreK-8th grade each morning. Our students  have the option of bringing a lunch to school each day or participating in the free hot lunch program.

Do you offer support for students with special learning needs?

St. Martin of Tours prides itself in taking an intentional focus to support students with extra learning needs! Most of our students meet the criteria for one of the following:

  • specific learning disability in reading, writing, and/or math
  • other health impairment (such as ADHD)
  • high functioning autism
  • speech and language

We use a push-in/pull-out hybrid model with an inclusion focus. This means that identified students are exposed to grade-level content for the majority of the day with push-in support from a student support teacher in reading, writing, and math.

In addition to providing accommodations, modifications, and differentiation for grade-level common-core aligned curriculum, student support teachers remediate during “Target Time” based on the foundational skills identified as needing additional practice on unfinished learning.

Our integral partners, CORA and Catapult, provide the following staff to support students with additional learning needs:

  • Reading Specialists
  • English as a Second Language Teacher
  • Speech and Language Pathologist
  • Occupational Therapist
  • School psychologist
  • School Counselor
  • Family Connections Counselors
