Lauren Sobieski, M.Ed.

Principal

I am pleased and honored to introduce myself as the principal of St. Martin of Tours Catholic School. I am extremely proud and excited to lead this extraordinary school community and to support our students and their families. I can assure you that I share in this school community’s commitment to caring for your children every day while providing them with a world-class learning environment.

I have been with the Independence Mission Schools (IMS) network for 11 years. I view education as a life-long process and continue to learn every year from our students, teachers, and parents. The position of principal provides me the great opportunity to work collaboratively with teachers daily while remaining connected to our students’ learning and growth in the classroom. 

I believe our students are at the center of all school-related decisions. Because the relationships between families and the school are vital to the success of our students, I encourage you to become involved in every way possible.

Dennis Cain

Assistant Principal

Dennis Cain joined the IMS community during the 2019-2020 school year as the 3rd-4th grade student support teacher at St. Martin of Tours. In addition to working with the homeroom teachers and diverse learners in these grades, Mr. Cain oversaw the school’s PBIS program and extracurricular events, including the talent show. Prior to joining IMS, he worked in charter schools and youth advocacy programs in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
