Christine Nangle
Co-Executive Producer, The Simpsons
St. Martin of Tours Class of 1994
In February of 2026, Christine brought The Simpsons to Philadelphia for the show’s 800th episode. Calling the episode a “love letter to Philadelphia,” Christine wove in countless Philly hooks including Quinta Brunson and Kevin Bacon as lead characters, Wawa, the Rocky statue, the National Dog Show (which is held annually in Oaks, PA), the Mütter Museum, the Ben Franklin Bridge, Pat’s and Geno’s, music performed by native bands The Roots and Boyz II Men and so much more.
In addition to The Simpsons since 2019, Christine has written for numerous shows including Saturday Night Live, Kroll Show and Inside Amy Schumer.
While Los Angeles is now home, the St. Martin of Tours, Little Flower and UPenn grad is, as she told Philadelphia Magazine, “100 percent still a Philadelphian. I wear it with pride on my sleeve.”
“My experience at St. Martin of Tours gave me an educational foundation that I took with me through high school, college and into the entertainment world. It makes me happy to see the school flourishing and still serving Oxford Circle families.”
Michael J. Driscoll
Councilmember, City of Philadelphia
St. Martin of Tours Class of 1974
Michael Driscoll currently serves as a Democratic member of the Philadelphia City Council, representing the city’s 6th district. Prior to that, he served in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives representing the 173rd district. Prior to that, he was the deputy secretary of the Pennsylvania Department of General Services for seven years under Governor Bob Casey.
“So much of my career of government service I trace back to my education. UPenn… LaSalle… Cardinal Dougherty… And St. Martin of Tours.”
A member of the class of 1974, Driscoll graduated from St. Martin of Tours when it was the largest Catholic grammar school in the world.
“We had over 400 kids in our eighth grade. Eight classes, 50 kids to a class.”
“I think much of what I’ve been able to achieve for the people of Philadelphia and the people of Pennsylvania ties back to my formative years at Tours. Doing the right thing. Honesty. Understanding. I’m glad to see that those values are still there, still shaping today’s kids.”

Brendan Lotty
Owner, Lotty’s Professional Painting
St. Martin of Tours Class of 2001
After graduating from St. Martin of Tours in 2001, Brendan Lotty went on to North Catholic High School. Over the summers throughout high school, he’d return to St. Martin of Tours to help prepare the building for the coming school year. He’d do this primarily with a paintbrush, painting classrooms, doors and hallways.
Painting had always been a part of Brendan’s life.
“My dad was a painter. I grew up helping him on jobs. It’s just something that comes naturally to me.”
With a business degree from Penn State Abington, Brendan wasn’t particularly interested in a desk job. But painting was always there — and by 2017 he was the owner and founder of Lotty’s Professional Painting.
Today Brendan employs nine painters and does residential and commercial jobs across the region.
“My experience at St. Martin of Tours instilled a sense of accountability. And as a business owner, that’s something I rely heavily on. Because while I may not be doing too much of the actual painting these days, I’m running a business that requires 100 percent accountability.”
